AT THE TABLE

A little about Deception: Murder in Hong Kong.

One player knows the weapon and evidence behind a murder, but can communicate only through scene tiles. The investigators discuss the clues and try to identify the correct pair of cards. The murderer joins that discussion too, steering suspicion away from the truth without revealing their role.

What you’ll do

  1. Take a secret role and lay out evidence and means cards
  2. Interpret the forensic scientist’s scene-tile clues
  3. Make an accusation that names both the weapon and key evidence

Good to know

The forensic scientist cannot explain the clues aloud. Optional witness and accomplice roles change larger games; start with the roles specified for your player count.
